IFA NEXT Startup Days (Berlin, Germany): September 1-6, 2017

The German Startup Association organizes this year’s IFA Startup Days from Friday, September 1st to Wednesday, September 6th 2017. Every afternoon startups in each of the focus themes in the IFA NEXT Innovation Engine will make a presentation and pitch their products to IFA visitors, journalists, experts, decision-makers from trade and industry, and to potential investors.

Startup Night Berlin (Berlin, Germany): September 8th, 2017

Startupnight provides startups the opportunity to present themselves to corporates, investors and potential customers. It will take place for the 5th time on Friday, September 8th 2017 in the heart of Berlin with participants  startups from around the world in categories like mobility, energy, communication, AI, AR/VR, health and many more.

Accelerator Day (Berlin, Germany): September 8th, 2017

The startup association “Startup-Verband” and organizes the Accelerator days together with the magazine Gründermetropole Berlin as part of the IFA Startup days. Startups can get in touch with the participating accelerators and incubators, and will receive information from startups that are or were part of such a program.

Smart Energy Hackathon (Bangkok, Thailand): September 8-10, 2017

Smart Energy Hackathon aims to bridge the digital gap and raise awareness of software potential for smart energy solutions in Southeast Asia. $10,000 in cash prizes will up for grabs to the top 4 teams. The hackathon will kick-off a larger multi-year and multi-country program with several partners to support energy entrepreneurship in Southeast Asia.

DEADLINE: START.UP! GERMANY (Dortmund/Hamburg/Berlin, Germany): September 16th, 2017

The French-German Chamber of Commerce invites high-tech entrepreneurs to discover the diverse opportunities provided by the German economy to startup ventures. Accompanied by a group of like-minded entrepreneurs from all over the world you will explore some of Germany’s most promising startup hotspots; connect to peers and talent; build a feeling of what drives the German “startup-scene”; get a grasp of current developments in the market; and most importantly meet potential customers, partners or investors. Innovation knows no Borders (Berlin, Germany): September 21st, 2017

Migrants and refugees are best equipped to approach and solve issues that they are themselves subjected to. This is why Migration Hub Network is joining forces with WikiStage for the full-day event ‘Innovation knows no Borders” to show the innovative power of migration.

Startup Fest Europe (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Netherlands): September 25-28, 2017

StartupFest Europe is a week long festival. Each day events will take place that focus on startups in specific verticals. From 25-28 September the Netherlands will be the epicenter for international startups, scale ups, investors, scientists, corporates and other innovators. The festival will feature thematic events, fun & energizing meetups, deep dives and deal-making throughout the Netherlands. StartupFest Europe will be organized and fueled by a coalition of partners under leadership of StartupDelta.
