Kraftwerk has developed a new compact fuel cell (advanced SOFC) that is running on H2 and several hydrocarbons. Currently, it is the powertrain, which is the most advanced development using the fuel cell, with a fully electric range of 1400 km at a quarter of current powertrain cost which results in a solution that is even cheaper than Battery EV and combustion vehicles.
